ایرانتو: در پی بارش باران در کوهستان Cyprees ونکوور، محل برگزاری مسابقات اسکی و Snow boarding، مسئولان برگزاری المپیک، بیش از 20،000 بلیط فروخته شده را لغو کردند. این اقدام به دنبال شسته شدن دامنه کوه و عدم امکان استقرار تماشاگران در محل برگزاری مسابقات انجام می شود. با اینوجود گفته می شود، مسابقات طبق برنامه انجام خواهد شد. تاکنون 28،000 بلیط در این دوره لغو شده که در مجموع، 1.5 میلیون دلار از درآمد کمیته کم می کند.
